I am working on a new piece for the shop, and I am not sure which way to go. I drafted this halter bodice last night, and made a muslin for it this morning (and used Photoshop to create rough chevron effect) and did a quick sketch below.
My dilemma is whether to make this outfit a jumpsuit or actually create separates. What do you think? Any thoughts? Please help.
Hi guys! I am back. I haven’t actually lost my blog mojo! It’s just that I’ve been attacked by some malicious code / malware and my site was down for about a week! Has any one of you lovely bloggers ever encountered this problem? Your site is hacked by some weird malware which plants some unscrupulous code in your blog database and makes Google block your entire site? Yep that is what has happened to me! What a horrible experience. I don’t know how I was hacked. I always clean out any spam comments everyday and yet this happened! If you have any suggestion for prevention of future attack, please let me know. I am a bit out of my depth here.
Anyway, before the attack by the crazy malicious code, I was planning to share with you some thoughts on body image issues. Last week, while reading through IED (Instituto Europeo Di Design) library blog, I came across the cover of Vogue Italia September 2011; featuring an image of Stella Tennant with wasp waist and oversize nose piercing. My first reaction was more of a shock and confusion. I thought, why?

Look what’s just came in the mail today! My new nail polish in cute pastel colours! I am just so excited and in love with their colours that I have to post them here. You can find them at www.asos.com / www.barrym.com /or/ Model´s Own.
I got mine from asos.com but I think if you go to Barry M website directly you can get them for less. These nail paints are only £2.99 (€3.45 / US$4.70 / AU$4.50) each! And if you buy them from Superdrug you get £1 off when you buy 2, ha! The Model’s Own nail polish though are just slightly more expensive. I got mine in a pack of 3 on asos.com and managed to save a little.
So I tried them all on (sorry no photos to share yet because I was basically try them on, rubbed them off and in the end I decided to wear Utopia on my fingers and Bluemoon on my toes for the day!). I was very happy with them, so happy in fact that I went on to Barry M website and ordered some more colours (oh dear, we’ve got a new obsession going on here)! The image below show my new order. Look at the damage I´ve done. I know I´ve got like almost all shades of red and peach here but you can never have too many good reds right?
I am very excited about Barry M Indigo & Tangerine and just can’t wait to try them on. I think they will be just perfect for my Fall Palette Challenge outfits (Oops! there you go, more excuses! What kind of girl would I be to not drool all over these great nail paint colours?!!!)
Oh my pretties…
