TNLP : Progress Update

Hi everyone,

Just a super quick post on what’s been going on with the C.O.R / TNLP products. I’ve been super busy trying to meet the deadline and finishing off the collection I am making for TNLP (The New Label Project) Amsterdam, which will be available as of 1st April 2012.

Without further adieu, here they are.

 

Heather

Sweetheart midriff

3/4 sleeves (with 3 elbow darts!)

Cotton lace trim and shoulder embellishment

Centre back invisible zipper and button

Shell Fabric: polyester crepe (crispy milano) / Lining: cotton batiste

Colours: Navy or Pistachio

Sailor / Scalloped collar pull-over top

Princess seam / sleeveless

Shell Fabric: polyester crepe (crispy milano)

Colours: Vintage Rose in Soft Pink or Seafoam

(ps. the seafoam version still need some hand stitching work on the collar!)

Fully lined shorts

Jamaica length

Side invisible zipper

Shell Fabric: Cotton/Poly Lace or Polyester Sateen

Lining: cotton batiste

Colours: White, Beige or Tan

Soutache Jewellery

 

Apart from clothing, I’ve also managed to make a number of soutache jewellery (see pictures above). I am still working hard and marching on towards the deadline in April (really it is before the end of March). Wish me luck! I really can’t wait to have the products handed over to Giulia at TNLP.

Introducing: The New Label Project

Hi everyone! I have great news. I’ve recently joined The New Label Project (TNLP) in Amsterdam and I am super excited!

And what exactly is TNLP, you ask? A very good question.

TNLP is a new quirky boutique space located on Rozengracth, 75 in central Amsterdam (which is a stone throw from Westerkirk & Anne Frank House). It’s space is filled with starkly white boxes housing all kinds of products lovingly hand made by emerging designers from all around the world (and I am one of them)!

So what is TNLP all about then, you ask?

It is “more than a shop, different from anything you have ever seen”.

“You will find clothes, jewellery, bags, small pieces of art and accessories”.

“All in a box. All handmade…all unique”–TNLP.

I am so proud and super happy to be participating in this super cool and wonderful concept store. As of 1st April 2012 (just in time for the Spring/Summer season), my hand-made clothing and jewellery will be available at the TNLP shop. Giulia, the shop owner is also super nice and have been a great help with my kick start. So in the mean time, if you are around Amsterdam, please go and visit this shop!

So what does Chance Of Rain do at TNLP?

Well at the moment it’s a SECRET! Hahah. Ok, ok just a little hint. The first C.O.R/TNLP collection will be called Audrey Grace.  I’ll be (or at least try to!) posting about inspirations for the collection through out February and the next month of March, just so you get a glimpse of the process and what are going to be available at the shop.
